Samsungs newest smartphone could be made of metal

Samsung has recently become increasingly concerned that the build quality of their rival’s devices is making their own devices (specifically the Galaxy phones) look cheap. The point Samsung are looking at is whether the plastic cases of their current devices could be improved by changing them to metal (like the new iPhone and HTC One).

iPad 5 thinner and lighter

The newest iPad released by Apple will be both thinner and lighter than its predecessor, taking Apple back to its previous method of making the new device weigh significantly less than the previous iPad. This new information comes from KGI Securities Mingchi Kuo who has stated “You should expect a full-size iPad that's 15 percent thinner than the fourth-generation device and weighs 25 percent less”.

Apple iPhone 5S has 12 megapixel camera

With Apple set to release their new smartphone the iPhone 5S, there have been a number of different rumours about the new device, with the latest reports adding more detail on the actual specs of this new device. This new information has become known due to Apple's manufacturing partners revving up production on the new iPhone.

Apple preparing for iRadio deal

Apple is preparing to launch a new service designed to improve their online music presence, it’s called iRadio and it will be a streaming service rumoured to be released at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June. When released, this service is apparently going to be free with no word what paid options could appear.

Apple iTV to launch in 2013

As the latest rumours about Apple have made their rounds, people are predicting a new iTV package for later this year that will “revolutionize the TV viewing experience”. Topeka Capital's Brian White has visited a China-Taiwan technology supply chain and has discovered that Apple will launch an iTV with the iRing with it.

Apple’s new iOS 7 development delayed

With Apple's continued improvements to iOS 6, bloggers have been speculating on an early release of the new iOS 7. Other rumours have said that Apple is currently running behind in its production of iOS 7 but the software will come with an entirely new display.

Next two generations of iPhone designed by Steve Jobs

During a discussion between a San Francisco District Attorney (George Gascon) and an Apple Government liaison (Michael Foulkes) about the recent increase in iPhone thefts, Foulkes allegedly spoke about the next two generations of the iPhone as he said, "they preceded Tim Cook." This would mean that the design of these devices at least, would have been headed by Steve Jobs.

Further security risk for Apple ID and iCloud

A new security risk has been identified that could pose issues to Apple users personal accounts. This means that hackers can gain access to an account by resetting the password using only your e-mail and date of birth. Apple enabled an update (their two-step authentication) earlier in the week, to add online protection to their specific users separate Apple ID and iCloud accounts in an attempt to correct an earlier issue but it seems to have backfired.

Apple thwarted Evasi0n jailbreak hack with new iOS 6.1.3

Apple has managed to stop the Evasi0n jailbreak that has been angering them for a while. The iOS 6.1.3 fix released on Tuesday was designed to repair the security bug that evaded the lock screen. Apple has now discovered that it also fixes some gaps in the iOS that Evasi0n exploited to do an untethered jailbreak on all iOS devices.
