These machines are classed as refurbished - in reality they are BRAND NEW. They have failed medion's UV test - which means under UV light small sctatches can be seen on the lid. However, these are pretty much unnoticeable in normal lighting conditions (we couldn't notice anything), these laptops look like new - and they have never been used. This really is a crazy price for a modern spec laptop like this, complete with the latest DVD writer for writing yoru own DVDs! We now only have a few left and do not currently have access to more stock. The laptop has a nice spec too - the 2.8Ghz CPU and 256mb Ram give this unit plenty of power running windows XP.
