These machines are classed as refurbished - in reality they are BRAND NEW. They have failed medion's UV test - which means under UV light small sctatches can be seen on the lid. However, these are pretty much unnoticeable in normal lighting conditions (we couldn't notice anything), these laptops look like new - and they have never been used. This really is a crazy price for a modern spec laptop like this. We onlt have 10 available and do not currently have access to more stock. The laptop has a nice spec too - the 2.6Ghz CPU and 256mb Ram give this unit plenty of power running windows XP. It's suitable for all day to day applications - internet, mail, office, basic games etc etc. It's got a nice big 15" screen and all the other features that you'd expect from a good quality, modern laptop - including a combined DVD and CDRW. There's no catch and you certainly wont find a better deal. The laptops are nice looking too. You would normally expect to pay around £599 for a laptop of this spec. This laptop is broadband ready - just plug in the modem supplied by your ISP into the USB port on side of the laptop and off you go - it's super easy with XP, a couple of minutes and you'll be away - no nasty complicated settings. If you want to use the laptop on a wireless network in the future - no probs, simply plug in a PCMCIA wireless card (about the size of a credit card) into the side of the machine and you're away.
