(* For insurance purposes we can only deliver to the card holders registered address) Ordering online This by far is the most popular method of ordering our products – simply select the products enter your personal details and input your card details via our secure server and confirm – you will then receive an automated e-mail confirming that your order has been submitted, you will receive an additional e-mail when our accounts department have processed your payment and one more e-mail when the order has been dispatched – Simplicity personified. Card Payments Most of our customers prefer to pay by Debit or Credit card via our secure server as this is the fastest way to receive your goods because the payment clears almost immediately. Credit Card payments incur a 2.9% processing fee which will be added to your final bill on check out, no fee applies for Debit cards. Direct transfer/Cash Payments We realise that not everyone owns or indeed wishes to pay by card – for payments made by direct transfer or a cash payment into our account we can deliver to an address of your choice. We find these methods are especially useful for people who want an alternative delivery address to where their card is registered or who pay directly from a business account. Again the process is very straightforward, simply make the transfer or pay the cash into our account using your unique order number as a reference, as soon as the funds show in our account we will send notice to our dispatch team to prepare your order for delivery. Cheque Payment Many of our customers prefer to pay by personal* or business cheque*, simply place your order online or with us by phone, make a note of your unique SCUK reference number and forward your cheque to our Head Office accompanied by your reference number and name. When the funds clear into our account we will send notice to our dispatch team to prepare your order for delivery. On receipt of a signed Purchase Order we will put the order on our system and prepare the goods for dispatch on a payment on delivery basis. Delivery Battery Orders Battery orders are shipped FREE of charge on deliveries to the UK Mainland – deliveries to N Ireland and the Channel Islands are subject to an additional charge. The vast majority of our battery orders are delivered next day. International orders can take a little longer according to location and import procedures. All Non VAT International Orders must be accompanied by a valid EURO VAT number if delivery is within the EU; we are bound by law to charge VAT if a EURO VAT does not accompany the order. Orders for delivery outside the EU are VAT FREE. Computer/Laptops/Electrical goods Depending on model chosen delivery times are usually between 1 and 3 working days from the date the payment clears into our account. Our policy is to only dispatch our Computers and Electrical equipment to UK customers’ only – the only exception being if payment is made in advance, in full, including shipping by Telegraphic transfer. Delivery to N Ireland and the Channel Islands are subject to additional delivery charges and warranty exemptions. All deliveries guidelines Deliveries are usually made between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. Should you miss a computer/laptop delivery the couriers will leave a card with a reference number inviting you to call and arrange a redelivery at a convenient time, it is also possible to collect your purchase from your Local Depot on production of a proof of address accompanied by photographic ID. Please note we can only deliver to the card holders registered address for all purchases made by Debit/Credit card. If you miss your battery delivery a card will also be left giving details of how to collect/rearrange delivery.
