Our grading procedure is put in place so you know exactly what you should be expecting when you order from us. All our gradings are on condition of the product and we expect that when you receive your order you will be amazed by the condition you have received it in.

Our Computer Testing Process

Student computers want to give you an accurate grading to all of our refurbished IT Equipment so you know exactly what you are receiving. Please take a moment to browse through our grading system and also our testing procedure.

HDD (Hard Disk Drive) – We test to see if it can store up to its maximum capacity, and our diagnostic tools checks for errors
RAM (Memory) – Our diagnostic tools checks for errors.
Screen (if applicable) – Check for damaged pixels, cracks and damages
External Drive (if applicable) (CD/DVD Drive) – Test several CD and DVDs to check the drive functions correctly, and if the external drive is writable we also check this
Keyboard – Check to see if every key is working
Mouse – check to see its fully operational, Mouse pad left and right click
Wireless Card (if applicable) – Check that it connects to several wireless connections
USB Ports – Check to see if different hardware peripherals connect successfully
VGA Port (if applicable) – Check to see if an external monitor correctly works
Ethernet Port (if applicable) – Directly plug in a Ethernet cable to test the internet connection
Cleaning – This is done to a high standard with our professional equipment, please see below the grading process.

Our iPod Testing Process

Student computers want to give you an accurate grading to all of our refurbished iPods so you know exactly what you are receiving. Please take a moment to browse through our grading system and also our testing procedure.

iPod Touch:

Screen - We make sure the screen has no marks or pixel damage, we also test to see that all areas of the screen are functioning correctly
Buttons - We check the Lock (Power), Home and Volume buttons all work correctly
WiFi - Check to make sure it connects to all our Wireless Connections
Sync via iTunes - We test that the iPod can accept Music and Videos etc<
Speaker (if applicable) - We test the speaker for perfect sound quality
Headphone Socket - Test that the headphone socket has no faults and plays sound clearly
Charger Port - Test to make sure the iPod can charge fully
Video - We connect to YouTube to test the video is perfect quality
Cleaning – This is done to a high standard with our professional equipment, please see below the grading process.

iPod Nano and Classic:

Screen - We make sure the screen has no marks or pixel damage.
Buttons - We check the Lock, Scroll and buttons all work correctly
Sync via iTunes - We test that the iPod can accept Music and Videos etc
Headphone Socket - Test that the headphone socket has no faults and plays sound clearly
Charger Port - Test to make sure the iPod can charge fully
Cleaning – This is done to a high standard with our professional equipment, please see below the grading process.

iPod Shuffle:

Buttons - We check the Lock and other buttons all work correctly (if Applicable)
Sync via iTunes - We test that the iPod can accept Music and Videos etc
Headphone Socket - Test that the headphone socket has no faults and plays sound clearly
Charger Port - Test to make sure the iPod can charge fully
Cleaning – This is done to a high standard with our professional equipment, please see below the grading process.

Answer: No, the seal has been broken on the iPod and may have been repackaged into the retail box

Answer: You receive the full 12 months warranty

No marks on the screen
Very light marks on the back especially on iPods with chrome backs (iPod Touch & iPod Classic) as this is marked very easily.

Answer: Yes, the iPod will arrive in a Retail Box

Question: Is this ideal for a gift?
Answer: Yes, it arrives retail boxed and in Excellent Condition

Question: What warranty do I receive
Answer: You receive the 6 months warranty

Light marks on the back especially on iPods with chrome backs (iPod Touch & iPod Classic) as this is marked very easily.

Question: Is this ideal for a gift?
Answer: Yes, it arrives retail boxed and in Very good Condition, we would recommend this to teenagers - young adults (13-21)

Question: What warranty do I receive
Answer: You receive the 6 months warranty

May contain very light marks on the screen, but may find light markings around the Frame of the iPod
Will have marks on the back especially on iPods with chrome backs (iPod Touch & iPod Classic) as this is marked very easily.

Answer: Yes and no, we would recommend this as a gift to children under the age of 13.

Will have Heavey marks on the back and also possibly dents to the back especially on iPods with chrome backs (iPod Touch & iPod Classic) as this is marked very easily.
