Rumours have been spreading all over the place as to when Apple will release the ne w iPod Touch 5G, with most people saying that the device will be launched anywhere between early summer to the end of the year. The newest rumours put the release in March.
These rumours where brought about because of a report which said that iPod Touch 5G screens were being shipped to manufacturers alot earlier than was expected so naturally rumours surfaced as to the fact that the iPod will be released in early 2012 (March). The iPod is expected to come with some screen and frame changes, along the lines of a larger screen and a thinner build.
The main changes that are said to be coming with the newer models (apart from the ones detailed above) are the fact it can come in a wider range of colours and it comes with the new iOS 5. These are relatively small changes and the speculation states this is because the new device will come with an unbeatable price tag.

All this information comes from a note from Gardner, which was found by Business Insider, which states that Apple are more than ready to go into full production of the iPad 3 and this could begin with a launch around February.
The technical side to the new iPad screen states that it will have a resolution of 2048x1536 which would make the screen twice as good as the iPad 2, without quite reaching the screen capacity of the iPhones (notable) Retina Display.
There are further reports, which state that, Foxconn, a large manufacturing company could begin production as early as January. This would mean that there would be a large decline in iPad 2 production, which could grind to a complete halt in the second half of the year.

For years, people have used USB sticks to back up their files on an external device. Through doing this they have felt that their files were safe and secure, but they were wrong. Unknowingly they have been exposing their companies to a potential security disaster.
The main problem is that members of a company (even experienced members) use these devices to save important documents, which they will then move to different parts of the company without permission and without any form of data protection, this would mean that the files could become corrupted and infected with malware or even be stolen with ease.

Today the world is mourning the loss of a creative genius, as Steve Jobs, the co-founder and former chief executive of Apple has died at the age of 56. The visionary behind products such as the Macintosh, iPod and iPhone had been suffering with pancreatic cancer and had only stepped down as CEO six weeks earlier.
Jobs had said in his resignation letter that, “I believe Apple's brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role." He also said he would continue to work with Apple in role of Chairman.
Apple has since released the following statement:
"We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today.
Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.
His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts."

It is reported that Apple are about to make some major changes to its range of iPods with the Classic and Shuffle set to be discontinued. Since the arrival of the iPod Touch, there have been constant rumours that these devices were to be axed but the latest news seems to suggest this is now a possibility. The website TUAW reports that a source had told them that both models are "getting the axe this year".
As recently as March this year Steve Jobs had stated there were no plans on getting rid of the Classic and Shuffle devices. The iPod Classic will be ten years old in a month time and in recent years has had only minor developments made to it with its storage capacity being changed from 80GB to 160GB.
